With the help of such an element, various colors (blue, green and red) are projected onto luminophone CRT. In the production of TVs, manufacturers equip them with posistor and coil (A posistor is a thermistor that changes resistance when the temperature changes, usually made of barium titanate).

The reason why this element stops working can be considered improper operation of the equipment as a whole. For example, a consumer turned off the TV not by using a button on the remote control, but by unplugging the power cord from the outlet. This action leads to the appearance of a current surge with a large value, which makes the posistor unusable.

To do this, you will need the following materials:

  • frame;
  • insulating tape;
  • small button;
  • a cord that can be connected to a 220 V network;
  • PEL-2 cord.

First of all, it is necessary wind the cord around the frame - you need to complete more than 800 revolutions. After these manipulations, the frame should be insulated with electrical tape. The button is fixed, the power cord is connected. Then you need to perform a number of manipulations to demagnetize the device:

  • turn on the TV, let it warm up;
  • we turn on the device for demagnetization, at a distance of 1-2 m from the picture tube, we widely rotate our device, gradually approaching the TV and reducing the radius of rotation;
  • distortion should increase as the device approaches the screen;
  • without stopping, we gradually move away from the picture tube and turn off the device;
  • if the problem persists, you should repeat such manipulations again.

Our device cannot be kept under the influence of the mains for a long time - it will heat up . All stages of demagnetization should take no longer than 30 seconds.

The procedure in this case is the same as when using the throttle . However, a strong magnetic field is required to obtain the desired result. Some people have heard that a TV can be demagnetized using a conventional magnet. But this is not so: using such an object, you can only enhance the multi-colored spots on the CRT, but not in any way demagnetize the equipment.

To do this, go to the TV menu and find the item of the same name . If this section is enabled in the menu, then the screen will turn blue if there is no antenna or if the signal is of poor quality.
