Description

The culture belongs to the family of Compositae plants, characterized by erect stems 30–70 centimeters high, depending on the variety. From the base, the stems have dense branches. Inflorescences are baskets 12 centimeters in diameter. The numerous petals are lemon yellow. These varieties are allowed to be planted both in the summer cottage and in room conditions.

Yellow flowers, planted in a pot or planter and placed on a balcony or terrace, are especially aesthetically pleasing . In a flower arrangement, the culture can be supplemented, for example, with primroses and cineraria. If the plant is planted next to garden crops, then vegetables are not in danger of being damaged by fungi or pests, since the aroma of marigolds scares off parasites.

Blooming begins in July, and in the fall, flowers can be brought into the room, where they will continue to develop throughout the winter.

Landing

For seedlings, seeds are sown in early April. The planting material is deepened into the soil by 1 centimeter. When the threat of frost stops, you can transplant seedlings into open ground according to the scheme 25x25 centimeters . If the seeds are immediately planted in a dacha flower bed, then the flowering will be shorter.

Planting is recommended in a sunny area, but in general, the plant will bloom well in the shade.

Care

The culture is picky about the composition of the soil and the abundance of moisture, but it is important to avoid overflowing the plant, otherwise putrefactive processes will develop. The flower should be watered at the beginning of growth, and fertilized 2-3 times at intervals of 7-10 days.
