This material is produced on the basis of polymers and rubber. For weaving, instead of vines, ribbons of different lengths and widths are used. Products made from them are distinguished by an abundance of colors and structures. Positive criteria include the following:
- the composition of artificial rattan is safe, does not have harmful impurities;
- tolerates moisture well, so you can relax on a sun lounger wet, immediately leaving the pool;
- withstands frost;
- not sensitive to ultraviolet light;
- withstands loads from 300 to 400 kg;
- unpretentious in care;
- is much cheaper than natural material.
Manufacturers
The whole world knows rattan furniture from suppliers from Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. The sun loungers of these countries are light and beautiful, but better products are produced in countries far from Southeast Asia, for example, in Germany, Spain, Italy. Their products are varied and have almost no seams.
Often Dutch sun loungers are supplied to European markets.
