Polycarbonate is durable and resistant to intense UV and infrared rays and can be standard white or tinted. Please note that this material is sensitive to temperature extremes, so do not attach it too rigidly to the rails.

Ventilation

The ventilation of the winter garden provides for an air inlet and an exhaust duct. For the purpose of the inflow, windows and vents are used along the perimeter, and the hatches on the roof perform the function of the hood. The total area of windows and hatches is usually about 10% of the glazing area of the winter garden.

It is advisable not to be limited only to side windows and vents, but also to provide for multi-level windows, which allows you to establish natural air exchange in the garden.

Some manufacturers suggest using special "passive" ventilation systems when convection-blown valves are installed under the ceiling. Likewise, air exchange in the room is carried out approximately every 15 minutes. This ventilation is especially convenient if you cannot ventilate the winter garden every day. And in summer, on especially hot days, you can additionally use an air conditioner, which in the cold season will also serve as an excellent service as a winter garden heater.
