Preparing for installation

The next stage includes work on the installation of lathing and insulation . The subsystem includes horizontal and vertical bars pre-impregnated with an antiseptic composition. Initially, horizontal products are fastened to the bearing wall using nails or screws. The battens should be installed in 600 mm increments. Between the horizontal bars, you need to lay mineral wool or other insulation (the thickness of the heat insulator must be the same as the thickness of the bar).

Next, the installation of vertical bars on top of horizontal ones is carried out. For fiber cement boards, it is recommended to leave an air gap of 2 cm to avoid the risk of condensation forming on the wall under the cladding.

The next step is to install the starting profile and additional elements. To eliminate the risk of rodents and other pests entering under the sheathing, a perforated profile should be fixed around the perimeter of the structure. Then the starting profile is mounted, thanks to which it is possible to set the optimal slope of the first panel. Next, the corner elements are fastened. After at the joints of the substructure (from bars), EPDM tape is installed.

Installation subtleties

Self-tapping screws and a screwdriver are required to secure the Cedral cement board. Collect the canvas from the bottom up. The first panel must be laid on the starting profile. The overlap should not be less than 30 mm.

Boards "Kedral Klik" should be mounted joint to joint in specialized clamps.

Installation, as in the previous version, starts from the bottom. Procedure:

• mounting the panel on the starting profile;
• fixing the top of the board with a kleimer;
• installation of the next panel on the clamps of the previous product;
• fastening the top of the installed board.

All assembly should be done according to this scheme. The material is easy to work with as it is easy to process. For example, fiber cement boards can be sawn, drilled or milled. If necessary, such manipulations do not require specialized equipment. You can use the tools at hand, such as a grinder, jigsaw or "circular".
