Polyurethane is flammable, and therefore it is often painted with fire retardant acrylic compounds. At the same time, in order to ensure a high degree of reliability of fire safety of housing as a whole, other finishing elements, together with communications made of metal, are covered with such compositions.

Latex compositions also have excellent indicators, they differ:

• moisture resistance;
• a decent level of durability;
• look great, may have glossy surfaces.

Silicone coatings are more convenient for stucco molding, since their main advantage is that they have excellent dirt-repellent qualities. The silicone composition also has a number of other useful advantages. Its only drawback is its high cost.

Technologically, the painting process is carried out in two ways:

• before installation - easier than post-installation finishing, but does not allow to cover the docking slots with high quality;
• after installation - a more time-consuming option, which allows preliminary filling and obtaining a high-quality surface.

Preparatory measures include the preparation of the foundation:

• dust is carefully removed from the surface of the product;
• then cracks and cracks are sealed (especially between the walls and moldings) with putty;
• further, all the walls adjacent to the moldings protect against contamination during painting, for which they use a special masking tape, and cover the furniture and floors with a canvas;
• the final stage is the coating of the product with a primer to improve adhesion.

When painting, it is better to use a regular brush. The painting process looks like this:

• first, we prepare the composition by stirring it and, if necessary, adjusting the color;
• then evenly cover with a thin layer;
