Of course, the larger it is, the larger and harder the workpieces can be split into pieces. But a very powerful press can only be driven by a sufficiently serious motor. It is also useful to consider which auxiliary attachments can be used.

Since the tractors have powerful motors, improved wood splitters can be used. They are complemented by mechanical wood feed devices, and sometimes by pre-sawing complexes.

Since tractor wood splitters are often used in large logging, it is worth taking a closer look at models with a working length of 100 cm. But the diameter of the workpieces to be processed in the cone system is limited only by the size of the bed. In hydraulic devices, it is most often 30 cm. It is important to remember that the return stroke of the piston should not exceed 7 or 8 cm per second.
