But great design translates into increased construction costs. In saunas and steam rooms, experts recommend using linden or alder. First, you need to accurately determine the type of wood. In most cases, lining with imitation of a bar is made on the basis of conifers; The spike-and-groove attachment made of softwood helps ensure a snug fit, excellent thermal insulation and sound absorption. For outdoor decoration, it is recommended to use materials that are as strong and resistant to negative weather influences as possible. Inside rooms, fragility is acceptable, but grace and high plasticity become especially important. For interior work, pine looks preferable (at least in the budget category).

When buying a lining of two higher grades, you need to selectively control at least individual elements . Having discovered flaws on them, the consumer has every right to seek replacement of low-quality products immediately. Of course, you need to check boards in different bundles, and not in one. For the lathing, it is advisable to use a board or timber of a rock identical to the breed of the lining itself. Thanks to this, temperature and humidity deformations will be excluded in the room upholstered with it.

As in the case of other cladding materials, lining with imitation of a bar is used after cleaning the walls from the previous finish and dirt. On smooth wooden walls, you can install lining without lathing. But in the presence of obvious defects and deviations from the geometry, which are difficult or impossible to eliminate, it is recommended to use this design without fail. A metal crate is created on the basis of profiles, and a wooden crate is formed from slats or bars. The gap between them must be provided with a distance of at least 0.6 m.
